11/17/2014 0 Comments Artists Collaborate Main ProjectFor my project, I worked with Peyton, whom made Mario and planned out the animation, Kiran, whom made the Goombas and stair drawing with Morgan, whom made the snake and white board drawing, and Anna, whom helped with filming the animation. In this we had to continuously work together in finding a way make all of the sections fit together. I reflectA main part of this project, we spent looking at the current frame and asking where it was going next. A part that mainly needed it was when we had to pull Mario out of the gun barrel. This took a lot of planing and patience in order to make it look correct. We had to think of many ideas and where we could go with them before we could actually try them out. We take riskAs a group we had decided to go off the paper and onto the floor, which many of us were lacking confidence that we could make it look well, but we wouldn't know unless we tried it. This technique of trying to make a stop motion off of the tripod would prove to be difficult in making the image steady, but ended with a very promising result.

11/17/2014 0 Comments Solve Problems Main ProjectIn this project, I had made a way to move a marble from point A to point B. Not many obstacles had arose, but the biggest one was getting the marble to go on both paths instead of just one side. I developed my art making skillsOne aspect of making my project out of cardboard is that is was almost completely new to me. It was the first time I had ever thought of making art out of cardboard. Also new to me was making a sculpture that was also functional, unlike previous sculptures only showing an image. By the end of the project it was evident that I had become much better with these materials than when I had first started. I ReflectA main part of my project, I had to step back and ask myself, where is it going next. After I would answer that question in my head i would begin to build off of that. If I wasn't able to answer that question i would begin to modify the parts before and then again ask my self the same question again. I would repeat this process over again and plan the path out in my head, giving it it's functionality.
